It’s been a five year process to confirm the CCC hearing. Like any startup… all it takes is time, money, and persistence! This is a very important transition for us, because it entitles the land (giving a nice equity increase) and finally allows us to START BUILDING THE REAL THING.

Many of you were fortunate enough to meet a very special member of our dream team, Gary Spiers, at our Archery event last July. Or if you were one of the lucky ones, you had already known him for years.
Recently and unexpectedly, he made the biggest transition of all. Perhaps his heart was so full of love that it just couldn’t keep up.
Among his many talents (archery, cycling, engineering, space, conservation, wine, friends), he was an incredible photographer.
He furtively took this photo when I was doing a “meditation run” at the beach, capturing my feelings then…. and also now.
Life is precious. Breathe, and be present. Don’t just grind it out. Ask yourself “why am I doing this” and if you don’t like your answer - consider how else you can spend your time, and with whom.
To the moon and back Gary. Grateful for everything you gave us.

Why are you doing what you are doing? I launched Split.fyi, a divorce and separation platform because I’ve been through the wringer of a long divorce while pregnant and as a new mom. I know firsthand how tough and isolating it can be. My mission is to turn that challenging experience into something more positive and less overwhelming by offering a solution that provides real support, guidance, strategy, and growth opportunities.
Ten words to describe your business? Supportive, clarity, pathway, empowering, community, educational, hopeful, growth, camaraderie, accountable
What's your why? My why is to continuously grow and learn, become the best version of myself, and inspire others. I strive to advocate for those who cannot speak for themselves and empower them to find their own voice.
What’s a pivotal point that’s defined you? I am fortunate enough to have had many pivotal moments in my life, both good and bad, that have shaped who I am today. The one that stands out is when I decided to take control of my own divorce. While nursing my baby girl, I enrolled in a mediation course at my local college. This empowering and eye-opening experience changed how I faced my situation and inspired me to help others as a mediator.
What's your challenge? My challenge is balancing my expectations, ADHD, work life, mama life, family, and social life in a way that doesn't push me into burnout and lose a sense of self.
What do you do for fun Dancing is my ultimate fun resource! Whether I'm dancing solo at home, hitting the dance floor with friends, taking a class, or enjoying a night out at a club, it’s always a good time.

BEST NEWS EVER! August 8, 2024, California Coastal Commission hearing for construction, deeming our project “complete”. This is the most significant transition we’ve had on the property since we drilled the well four years ago to get water! 475 feet deep, if you’re curious. The next major milestone is to wrap up grading approval with Los Angeles County (only 3 more steps! or maybe 12!) Working with custom factory builder Bevyhouse - the structures are built concurrently with groundworks to save a lot of time and (sort of) save money too. There is an opportunity here for real estate investment. We were waiting for this milestone to transition from complete ownership to an investment or partnership model.
